Kate MacLeod
Owner/Administrator/Educator
I am a licensed BC Teacher and Certified Sexual Health Educator.
I have been teaching this content, from Kindergarten to Gr. 12, for over a decade and still get excited entering the classroom. Students in every grade level encourage me to continue my learning as I continue to be amazed and inspired by their knowledge, open questions, critical thinking and curiosity.
As a mother of two, I understand the necessity of giving accurate information to my children so that they may make healthy choices in their own lives with respect to their bodies. My children and all children I work with are clearly the change makers needed in this world as they welcome and take on progressive thoughts, attitudes and better create a space of acceptance for people to show up as their authentic selves.
I have worked in the outdoors around the world with youth as an Experiential Facilitator for over 20 years and it's this passion that has driven me to integrate my teaching style to the classroom where I hope to facilitate open discussions for individuals and groups.

I am a passionate Certified Sexual Health Educator dedicated to empowering young people to make informed decisions about their bodies, health, and relationships.
With over 10 years of experience working as an experiential educator and a Bachelor's of Education in progress, I am committed to creating supportive and caring classroom environments where all students feel valued and respected.
As a sexual health educator, I have taught comprehensive sexual health to students of all ages, from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
I prioritize inclusivity, emphasizing accurate, evidence-based information. I support all students to have healthy conversations with trusted adults and connect older students with community resources to ensure that every student has access to the information and support they need to be comfortable and safe in their body.
